Dr. Rouse received a Doctorates in Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University in 2009. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in Paris, Texas since 2013. She has a special interest in internal medicine, preventative medicine, and surgery. Dr. Rouse is originally from Hugo, Oklahoma and graduated from Hugo High School in 2001. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt Rouse, PT, DPT, her son Cade, and her daughter, Ellie. They are the owners of a Labrador Retriever, Maddie; Jack Russell terrier, Arabelle; and cats, Millie, Hunter James, and Eula Glitter. In her spare time, she enjoys running, fishing, gardening, and spending time with family.

SUSAN BECKER, DVM
VETERINARIAN Dr. Susan Becker graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care ever since. Outside the clinic, Dr. Becker enjoys a vibrant family life with her husband, Justin, and their three children: Samantha, Katelyn, and Calvin. Their home is also shared with four beloved dogs—Spencer, Korg, Copper, and Dingo—as well as three cats. Dr. Becker has a special passion for raising Morgan horses and Braunvieh cattle, reflecting her deep-rooted love for animals of all kinds. With decades of experience and a strong commitment to animal health, Dr. Becker combines expertise with a personal touch that makes every client feel like family. |

Dr. Chuck Lay is a 1981 graduate of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and has proudly served the Northeast Texas community for over 40 years. From a young age, Dr. Lay was inspired by his mother and teachers to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to providing exceptional medical, diagnostic, and surgical care, with a special interest in advanced surgical and endoscopic procedures. Since 2001, Dr. Lay has focused on referral patients, working closely with local veterinary clinics and pet owners through Layvetems to deliver compassionate, personalized care.
Dr. Lay is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, where he serves on the Companion Animal Committee.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Lay enjoys spending time with his wife of 44 years, Jeanne, their daughter Mollye, and their four beloved pets—Bella, Lilly, Blue, and Floki. An outdoor enthusiast and music lover, he can often be found enjoying nature or playing his guitar.

Jeannie is a Certified Veterinary Assistant Level II, currently pursuing her Level III certification, with special expertise in surgery and Endoscopy.
